1. Bottom Tier: Online travel agencies such as Booking.com, Hotels.com, and Expedia. This is a simple transaction that puts you last in line for upgrades and service.
2. Standard Retail: Booking direct with the property. Now the hotel knows your name, but they have no financial incentive to prioritize your stay.
3. Portal Perks: Chase Travel, Capital One Travel, and other card travel portals. You earn and redeem points, but hotels still treat these bookings like standard online travel agencies.
4. Card Premium: Programs such as AmEx Fine Hotels + Resorts. You can receive solid benefits, but they are tied to a credit card, leaving you with zero personalized trip management.
5. Full Advocacy: Travel Advisors that go above and beyond. Receive free amenities, upgrade priority, dedicated property contacts, and pre-arrival advocacy, from elite networks like Virtuoso, Rosewood Elite, or Marriott Stars.

Custom European travel itineraries are my specialty, and France is the destination I keep returning to year after year (I’ve been over 50 times). I can specify which champagne tastings are worth your time in Épernay, tell you where to photograph lavender fields and historic villages in Provence, and guide you to my favorite Châteaux in the Loire Valley.
That said, my passion for planning exceptional getaways is truly global. From luxury honeymoons in the Greek Islands to multi-generational journeys in Scandinavia, girls’ trips to London, or milestone birthday travel in Tanzania—I handle it all.
Over the years, I’ve collected moments of wonder from my journeys around the world, in cities, vineyards, mountains, and beaches, that have stayed with me long after I returned home.
